Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by itim international ("itim", "we", "us"), a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered with the KVK in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, operating under the brand Intercultural Teams. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services
Intercultural Teams provides an online platform for cultural intelligence tools, training content, and related services (the "Services"). Access to certain features may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase.
2. Account Registration
To use certain parts of the Services, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and current information during registration.
3. Subscriptions
3.1 Plans and Billing
We offer subscription plans billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment processor, Stripe. Pricing and plan details are displayed on our website at the time of purchase.
3.2 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
3.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial or unused billing periods.
4. Lifetime Purchases
We may offer lifetime access to certain features or content through a one-time purchase. "Lifetime" means for as long as the applicable product or service exists and is actively maintained by itim international. Lifetime access is personal and non-transferable.
5. Payments
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. Prices are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes where required. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice; existing subscriptions will not be affected until renewal.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Share, redistribute, or resell access to paid content or features;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts;
- Use the Services in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure;
- Scrape, copy, or extract data from the platform without written permission.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and tools provided through the Services are the intellectual property of itim international or its licensors. Your subscription or purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your own professional purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, itim international shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Availability and Changes
We strive to keep the Services available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services with reasonable notice. In the event of discontinuation, we will honour active subscription periods and provide reasonable alternatives for lifetime purchases where possible.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on our website prior to the changes taking effect.
